Download Manises Font Family From Eurotypo

Download Manises Font Family From Eurotypo
Designed by Carine de Wandeleer, Manises is a display serif font published by Eurotypo.

Located in the Valencian Community, Spain, Manises is very famous for its pottery. In the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, Manises was the most important production center for Spanish-Moresca ceramics, which was exported throughout Europe. At the beginning of the 16th century, Manises tiles were very commercially successful, especially of the heraldic type. Much appreciated by the Aragonese crown, Manises ceramics was also exported to France, Italy, and especially to Naples. As a big fan of Paterna and Manises ceramics, Naples influenced other Italian courts. Calixto III and Alejandro VI continuously commissioned Valencian pieces and tiles for the halls of the Vatican. The export also extended to Sicily, Venice, Turkey, Cyprus and even Flanders and the Baltic countries. The palaces of all the courts of Europe were enriched with this art. Many painters reproduced it in his paintings. It can be seen in the work of Humberto and John Van Eyck, and in the central panel of a triptych by Hugo Van der Goes (Uffizi Gallery, Florence). In this city there are also some frescoes by Domenico Ghirlandaio in which the Arabic-Valencian earthenware appears.
Manises font is inspired by a text written on a 16th century tile, but adapting it to our times and giving it a very modern air. It is characterised by being able to combine uppercase and lowercase letters in a conventional manner, or use only capitals, or only lowercase letters, or, a random combination of both. It comes with an extra of many ligatures, stylistic alternates, and a set of very useful catchwords, to give more modernity to your text.
This OpenType features may only be accessible via OpenType-aware applications, or the Character Map to view and copy any of the extra characters to paste into your favourite text editor/app.
Manises looks lovely on wedding invitations, greeting cards, logos, posters, labels, t-shirt design, logos, children’s material, in ink or water-colour based designs, fashion, magazines, food packaging and menus, book covers and whatever your imagination holds!
We would be delighted that you can enjoy it!

Designed by Missy Meyer, Tropical Punch is a hand display and retro font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Missy Meyer.

I am shocked to my very core that the name “Tropical Punch” hasn’t been used for a font yet. What a delight, that my very first name choice is available, and I can grow my collection of fonts named after delicious food and drink!

Tropical Punch is a retro-tropical font with a ton of variety: I’ve included nearly 200 multi-letter ligatures with nesting letters, to add quirky and fun variety to all of your projects.  There are also a few alternate vowels, plus a few dingbats to add jazzy pizzazz; and 10 smaller catchwords like THE, AND, WITH, and more!

I’ve also made an outline version—Tropical Punch Outline—which surrounds the solid letters beautifully, so you have even more options!

Of course, both versions have my usual 300+ extended Latin characters for language support. And I’ve included a set of uppercase Greek letters as well!

And everything, as always, is fully PUA-encoded so all characters are easy to access. I’ve also included a PDF with all of the alternates, dingbats, ligatures, and catchwords—just copy one from the PDF and paste it into your design program of choice.

Download Genki Desu Font Family From Hanoded

Download Genki Desu Font Family From Hanoded
Designed by David Kerkhoff, Genki Desu is a hand display and kids font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Hanoded.

Genki Desu is one of those Japanese expressions that are used a lot and don’t really mean what you think they mean. You can use it as a greeting: O Genki Desu Ka? (お元気ですか - how are you), or to say you’re feeling fine (元気です - Genki Desu). The word Genki also means ‘energy’ or ‘vigor’. I am not an expert, in fact, there’s so much Japanese I can actually speak (shame on me), but Genki Desu is one of my favourites. Maybe just because it sounds so nice!

Genki Desu is a cartoon/kid’s font. It is happy, kawaii and full of Genki, so use it for any design that needs a bit of cute.

In the word of the great Yoda: ‘May the Genki be with you!’.

I’ve added two versions: Regular and Drips. The Drips versions is (you may have guessed it already!) a bit more drippy than the regular version. Both versions uses contextual alternates, which in this case means that there is 3 different versions of all lowercase letters - and these automatically cycles as you type!

Download Galix Mono Font Family From Schizotype Fonts

Download Galix Mono Font Family From Schizotype Fonts
Designed by Dave Rowland, Galix Mono is a sans serif font family. This typeface has eighteen styles and was published by Schizotype Fonts.

This monospaced version of Galix was commissioned in 2037 by the space exploration company Earth2, as part of a major overhaul of their branding, which had used, since 2021, a generic sans serif (much like every other company). Many specialists in both design and space exploration suggested that this very rebrand started a chain of events that concluded with the invention of time travel in 2041. Contrary to the perceived notion put forward in popular Science Fiction, time travel is only (as of now) possible in the digital realm. It was considered fitting that included among the first files sent back in time should be the Galix Mono typeface, which was remade in OTF format to ensure that it would work with the technology available in 2019. Earth2, for all their insight, did not foresee that the release of the typeface in September of 2019, would lessen the impact of their rebrand. What kind idiots would rebrand a forward looking company with a font that was, by then, almost 18 years old? The subsequent lacklustre response to the redesign didn’t inspire the tidal wave of R&D funding Earth2 had anticipated, and the company went into administration in the summer of 2039, having never invented the time travel which made the release of Galix Mono in 2019 possible. Experts believe that the files sent back in time, although their very sending made it impossible for them to be sent, remained as “time relics” of the future that might have been.
